Jason’s Water Systems Joins WQA’s Business Operations Training Committee
We’ve got exciting news to share! At Jason’s Water Systems, we’ve always believed in more than just delivering great water—we believe in raising the bar for the entire water treatment industry. That’s why we’re proud to announce that our owner, Emily Watkins, has been elected to join the Water Quality Association’s (WQA) Business Operations Training Committee.
This is more than just a title—it’s an opportunity to help shape how water treatment businesses across the country grow, learn, and operate.
What the Committee Does (And Why It’s a Big Deal)
The Business Operations Training Committee is focused on exactly what it sounds like—training water professionals on how to run stronger, more efficient businesses. This includes:
- Helping develop and deliver executive-level training and convention seminars
- Identifying speakers and curating educational content relevant to the modern water treatment industry
- Reviewing training programs and issuing certificates of completion
- Exploring innovative and collaborative ways to reach professionals through regional events or online learning
- Analyzing participant feedback and helping evolve training strategies
- Reporting committee progress and initiatives to the WQA Board of Directors
Our team will be directly involved in helping select topics, identify expert speakers, and refine how this content is delivered—making sure it’s practical, relevant, and useful to professionals at all stages of their careers.
Why This Matters to Us (And to You)
We see this as a natural extension of what we already do at Jason’s Water Systems: empowering people with knowledge, tools, and systems that work.
Joining this committee allows us to bring real-world experience from right here in Texas to a national level. We’re especially excited to contribute ideas that help small business owners, family-run companies, and service pros become even better at what they do—because when businesses in our industry succeed, everyone benefits.
Looking Ahead
We’ll be working alongside other industry leaders to improve and expand WQA’s business operations education initiatives—and we’re just getting started. From course development to reviewing feedback and making improvements, we’re committed to helping create training programs that actually make a difference.
Whether it’s at a national convention or through an online webinar, we’re honored to represent the values and vision that Jason’s Water Systems has always stood for: integrity, innovation, and smarter water solutions.
Thanks for celebrating this moment with us—and stay tuned for more updates on our work with the WQA!
